Women’s golf and women’s track and field kick off Big Sky… – Portland State Vikings

Portland State Women’s Golf and Women’s Track and Field can boast the best team rating point averages in their respective sports in the Big Sky Conference for 2022-23. Those results were released today by the league at the inaugural Big Sky Academic Team Championships.

The PSU women’s golf team combined to a 3.88 team GPA for the academic year, as all six members earned Academic All-Big Sky Conference honors. The women’s track team had combined for a 3.72 team GPA during 2022-23. Nineteen members of that team earned Academic All-Big Sky honors.

Those honors were part of another strong academic year for Portland State student-athletes. PSU’s combined GPA for all sports for the year was 3.24 and there were a total of 149 All-Big Sky Conference academic honors among PSU’s 15 sports. Thirty-seven student-athletes had a 4.0 GPA, some 55 were on the President’s List or Dean’s List, and PSU Athletics had 79 graduates.
