NBA Player Props Today – Thursday, December 7, 2023

  • Over/Under 43.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists
  • Over/Under 26.5 Points
  • Brandon Ingram Over/Under 23.5 Points

Over/Under 43.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists

In five In-Season Tournament games, is averaging 26.2 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 8.2 assists – totaling 42.2 points + rebounds + assists (PRA). However, those numbers are negatively skewed due to a group stage game against the Grizzlies in which James had only 31 PRA in 23 minutes of action in a blowout win. Against Phoenix on Tuesday night, James totaled 31 points, 8 rebounds, and 11 assists, putting him comfortably north of this market number in a win-or-go-home game. James has spoken publicly about his determination for winning this tournament, and we all know how much James loves the city of Las Vegas. This market number is still too low, even with James being 38 years old.

  • PICK: James OVER 43.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (+102), FanDuel

Over/Under 26.5 Points

is averaging 16.2 field goal attempts per game this season, 8.1 of which are coming in the restricted area and 5.5 of which are coming in the paint. In the last month, the Pelicans have allowed the 4th-fewest opponent field goal attempts in the restricted area and the 7th-fewest opponent field goal attempts in the paint. Davis is averaging only 21.2 points in five In-Season Tournament games this year, and that includes a 27-point effort from Tuesday against the Suns – a team that allows a tremendous amount of shots around the rim. Davis is unlikely to have anywhere near as many opportunities tonight, making the under a strong value play at plus money.

  • PICK: Davis UNDER 26.5 Points (+105), Bet365

Brandon Ingram Over/Under 23.5 Points

Narrative plays are unlikely to be profitable long-term in their own right, but when a narrative play aligns with good data, we have good reason to fire. Brandon Ingram is averaging 27.4 points per game during the NBA In-Season Tournament this year on 20.8 field goal attempts per contest. Ingram has clearly held a grudge against his former team as well, averaging 25.5 points per game against the Lakers during his career, which is more than he has averaged against any other team. On Thursday, Ingram is likely to shine under the bright lights against the franchise that traded him.

  • PICK: Ingram OVER 23.5 Points (-105), BetMGM
