In a bizarre turn of events, a West Indies championship match was suspended after cows damaged part of the pitch before play. Trinidad and Tobago Red Force was up against Guyana Happy Eagles in a four-day match at the Conaree Sports Club, Conaree.

In a bizarre incident, a West Indies Championship cricket match between Trinidad and Tobago and Guyana was suspended after cows got on the pitch overnight and damaged part of it. Trinidad and Tobago Red Force were up against Guyana Happy Eagles in a four-day match at the Conaree Sports Club, Conaree. Play was suspended on Day 2 after cows got on the pitch overnight and trampled part of the field.

There have been a few incidents when play was delayed or suspended due to weird reasons. During the Bangladesh tour of South Africa in 2017, the second session of Day 1 was delayed due to a delay in food for the visitors. Similarly, an ODI match between New Zealand and India was halted due to excessive sunlight.

Meanwhile, the West Indies are currently in Australia. The team scripted history after they defeated Australia at the Gabba. Shamar Joseph was the star of West Indies as he bagged seven wickets in the second innings to help West Indies win by eight runs.
